Miele is a German manufacturer of high quality domestic appliances, commercial equipment and fitted kitchens. It was founded in 1899 by Carl Miele (above) and Reinhard Zinkann (below) and has always been a family-owned, family-run company.

Since the beginning, the Miele motto has been "Immer Besser" or "Forever Better" and this philosophy is still reflected in the legendary quality and longevity of the products.

Miele has always been a pioneer in the field of domestic appliances. They developed the first washing machine from the technology of a butter churn.

A relatively new product to the kitchen is the integrated Steam oven that can be seen at the bottom left of this page.
